ABOUT ABOUT

"Dementia Care California: Sustaining Momentum and Success," sponsored by the California Partnership to Improve Dementia Care, is a one-day conference on improving dementia care being offered in Sacramento at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on February 23, 2015, and the Pasadena Convention Center on February 25, 2015. The program, featuring keynote speaker Dr. G. Allen Power – Certified Eden Alternative® Educator and a member of the Eden Alternative board of directors – will look at where we are now, what is our process for change, and how to bridge the gap in transitional care for persons with dementia. We'll also share some success stories and bring it all together at the end with some strategies for moving forward.

Application has been made for 6.0 hours of continuing education credits for nursing home administrators, RCFEs, nurses and social workers.
